The contract for the second tender has been signed for the supply, installation, and operation of workshop equipment for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning specialization. This comes as part of the Educational Environment Development Project for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning department at the college, under the Technical and Vocational Education Specializations Development Program at Seiyun Community College.

The agreement was signed between Nebras for Development, represented by its Executive Director, and Al-Kathiri for Industrial Equipment Import, to implement the supply, installation, and operation of modern equipment for the educational workshops. This step aims to strengthen practical training and support the quality of the educational process.

This initiative contributes to achieving the project’s objectives, which focus on developing the educational environment of the specialization and enhancing the efficiency of practical training by equipping workshops with modern tools and technologies, ultimately preparing qualified technical cadres capable of meeting labor market needs.

The project is funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development, in partnership with Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society, implemented by Nebras for Development, and supervised by the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, as part of joint efforts to support technical and vocational education and improve the quality of its outcomes.

Within the framework of implementing the project for developing the educational environment for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning specialization at Seiyun Community College, under the Technical and Vocational Education Specializations Development Program at the college, the contract for the first tender agreement for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the refrigeration and air conditioning workshops and classrooms has been officially signed.

The signing of this agreement represents an important implementation step within the project outcomes aimed at improving the readiness of the specialization’s infrastructure. This will be achieved through comprehensive rehabilitation and maintenance works to ensure that the workshops and classrooms are fully prepared for both practical and theoretical training, while creating a modern and motivating learning environment that supports the quality of the educational process and aligns it with labor market requirements.

The agreement was signed between Nebras Development Association, represented by its Executive Director, and Bin Haliman Office for Architectural and Non-Architectural Contracting, which will carry out the rehabilitation and maintenance works in accordance with the approved technical specifications and standards.

The project is implemented by Nebras Development Association, under the supervision of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, and funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development in partnership with Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society, as part of joint efforts aimed at developing technical and vocational education and enhancing the quality of its outcomes.

This step comes in line with the project’s objective of creating a modern and stimulating educational environment that contributes to improving the efficiency of the educational process and preparing professionally qualified graduates, thereby enhancing students’ readiness for the labor market and supporting the sustainable development of the refrigeration and air conditioning specialization at the college.

As part of the ongoing efforts to make technical education more aligned with labor market needs, the Partnership Management and Strategic Relations with the Private Sector training course was implemented ضمن the activities of the Technical and Vocational Specializations Development Program and within the Technical Education Partners Project 2026. This reflects the program’s objective of strengthening institutional partnerships and building effective bridges with the private sector.

Over two training days, participants from the administrations of Seiyun Community College and Al-Mukalla Industrial Technical Institute engaged in four main modules. These began with assessing the current status of partnerships, analyzing the labor market, and identifying priority stakeholders. The training then moved to value proposition design and marketing vocational specializations in alignment with strategic objectives, followed by negotiation skills, trust-building, and contract relationship management, and concluded with enhancing the role of digital media, partnership documentation, and partner database management.

The course aimed to strengthen practical understanding of how to design sustainable partnerships and transform them from formal agreements into strategic relationships that generate mutual value and contribute to expanding students’ practical training and employment opportunities.

The project is implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, with generous support from Al-Awn Foundation for Development and Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Association, and executed by Nebras For Development.
