As part of its institutional approach based on governance, transparency, and accountability, Nebras for Development (NAD) held its Annual General Assembly meeting on the afternoon of Friday, February 13, 2026, with the attendance of its members to review the past year’s performance and approve the directions for the upcoming phase.

The meeting commenced with a speech by the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Abdullah Quwaya, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of this meeting as a key milestone for evaluation, review, and strengthening the institutional work path. He commended the efforts of the Administrative Board and the Executive Management in achieving qualitative accomplishments during the past year, reaffirming the commitment to moving forward with a unified team spirit toward further development and excellence.

The meeting represented a pivotal moment to assess institutional performance during 2025. Achievements at the level of programs and projects were reviewed, alongside an evaluation of financial and administrative performance in accordance with clear standards reflecting the Association’s commitment to the highest levels of discipline and responsibility.

During the meeting, the following were discussed and approved:

  • The Administrative and Financial Report for 2025, which included a detailed presentation of implemented activities, performance indicators, and the level of adherence to the approved plan.

  • The Supervisory and Inspection Committee Report for 2025, including observations and recommendations aimed at strengthening the internal control system and reinforcing the principles of institutional integrity.

  • The Operational Plan for 2026, outlining development priorities and future work tracks in line with a clear strategic vision.

  • The General Budget for 2026, ensuring the efficient and effective allocation of resources toward achieving the set objectives.

NAD continues its journey with confidence and stability, grounded in a clear vision, sound governance, and a deep commitment to serving the community and advancing sustainable development.

Opening Session of the First Tender Envelopes
(Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Workshops and Classrooms at Seiyun Community College)

Within the project of developing the educational environment for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning specialization at the College.

Under the Technical and Vocational Education Specializations Development Program at Seiyun Community College.

Funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development, in partnership with Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society, implemented by Nebras for Development Association, and supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education,

Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training.

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop its programs and enhance its community impact, Nebras for Development (NAD) implemented a specialized workshop to evaluate the targets of the “Rifqat Al-Habib” Project, funded by Silah Foundation for Development. The workshop was dedicated to reviewing the project’s progress and formulating its vision and implementation plan for the year 2026.

The workshop aimed to assess the current status of the project, analyze its strengths and opportunities for development, and discuss new qualitative ideas and activities that respond to the needs of the targeted groups. It also sought to improve performance quality and achieve more effective and sustainable outcomes. In addition, the workshop outlined the features of an ambitious plan for 2026, based on systematic planning and aligned with societal changes and the requirements of the upcoming phase.

The workshop was facilitated and led by Ms. Wafaa Omran, Protection Sector Officer at NAD, who delivered specialized inputs focusing on the importance of integrating protection concepts into the design of activities and future plans of the project, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the targeted groups.

The workshop witnessed active participation from several mothers of students benefiting from the project, along with the attendance of a group of specialists in the field, who presented developmental and improvement proposals that enriched the discussion and enhanced the quality of the planning outcomes.
