 On Thursday morning, October8,2020, Nebras for Development signed an agreement with Al-Nama Network for NGOs to implement the dates distribution project for the year 2020-2021 as an implementing partner which comes with funding from the King Salman for Relief and Humanitarian Work and the implementation of  Al-Nama Network for NGOs, which is 37000 poor families from displaced and host community will benefit from this project in several districts of Wadi  and Sahra Hadramout. Al-Nama Network was represented in the signing of the agreement by the General Director, Eng. Abdul Wahab Naser, and on behalf of Nebras the General Secretary Mr. Abdullah Breashan . And in the presence of Mr. Ali Ba-Mabed, Director of Programs and Projects in Al-Nama Network, and Mr. Hassan Al-Sukkar, the Executive Director of Nebras for Development.

In the presence of the Director General of Al-Somm Directorate Mr. Anees Salem Al-Samahi, Mr. Khalid bin Shihab, Director of Programs and Community Development at Selah Foundation for Development, and Mr. Abdullah Berishan, Secretary-General of Nebras Association, the administrative staff of the Nebras Association celebrated with notables and the people of Mukhaibi and Al-Somm District, by operating the alternative energy system for the poorest families in the area (Shelhamat) As this area is considered one of the areas deprived of access to electricity since the displacement of the people to it in the year 2000 , and more than 100 people will benefit from it, and the project included the provision of an integrated system of alternative energy that contains solar panels, chargers and storage, as well as electrical installations into the housing. In the opening ceremony, the Director General of Al-Somm Directorate praised the efforts of Selah Foundation, pointing out  to the importance and quality of the project and that it was implemented in the appropriate place, thanking the Nebras Association for their distinguished role in the implementation with high professionalism. Mr. Khalid Bin- Shehab also appreciated the efforts of the local authority in Al-Summ District and Nebras Association for standards in determining the needs of needy families , it is worth noting that the association will complete the second phase of the project in the coming days, Which aims to connect alternative energy to 25 poor families in the districts of Tarim and Qattan in Hadramout governorate.
