With funding from the Student Association for Youth Development and the Yemeni Development Network for NGOs in Wadi Hadramout and in coordination with Al-Amal Consulting Foundation, a program of computer secretarial diploma for students from families displaced by the war in Yemen was launched at the Institute of Professional Excellence for Training and Rehabilitation.
Under the patronage of the Director General of Tarim Directorate, the Legal Advisor Mr. Khalid Awad Howaidi, Under the suoervision of the Office of Education in the Directorate , Funded by the (SAYD) and the implementation of the Department of Al-khattab secondary school and in a competitive atmosphere concluded this morning at Al- ttafawq Institute, the competition for the Marathon Chemistry for students of the second grade scientific (9) schools with the participation of more than (500) students. At the ceremony Mr. Ali Omer Bin-Shehab , Director of the Directorate of Education ,praised the idea of the unique competition and thanked the organizers and (SAYD) , The secretary General of (SAYD) Mr.Abdullah Breishan expressed his thanks and appreciation for the great effort and creative work undertaken by the creators of this competition creative activity , which broadcast the spirit of scientific competition among high school students. Mr. Ali Mahfoodh Ba-Rofeed delivered the speech of the executing party in which he explained the idea of the competition and the stages that went through it, he expressed his thanks to (SAYD) and its previous support.
Dar Al-Mustafa Secondary School for boys was crowned as a champion of the chemistry Marathon , while Al-Khattab Secondary School was runner up. Tatim Secondary School for girls was crowned as a champion of the chemistry Marathon , while Al-Suwairi Secondary School was runner up.
The closing ceremony was attended by Director of General Education at the Ministry of Education Mr. Ali Suwaydan and Head of Education Guidance Mr. Ibraheem Al- Ameri.
It was worth mentioning that this competition was held in three stages: the stage of competition in the elements and chemical symbols. Stage of compounds and formulas. Stage of chemical equations
The Program and Projects Department of (SAYD) held a panel discussion on youth and girls benefiting from the Programs and Projects of the Association entitled " Effectiveness of Outputs and Results for Education and Protection Programs". The program included an awareness lecture on the concepts of protection and its importance in the society, it was by Mr. Akram Bagham . A panel discussion was held to develop the mechanisms of the Association's programs in the fields of education and protection, it was by Mr. Munir Amroon.
